The HONKUP brand was established in 2025 by an entrepreneur with hands-on experience in developing and selling handheld train horns since 2022. Prior to founding HONKUP, the founder was also a co-owner of another company operating in a similar product category.

This background provided practical experience in both manufacturing processes and understanding customer needs. Based on this experience, HONKUP was created as a separate brand with a focus on consistent product quality, reliable performance, and straightforward customer service
